Wilson Center Offering New Summer Internship Opportunities

March 4, 2021

The Wilson Center is recruiting Summer 2021 Research Interns (undergraduate students) and Summer Research Fellows (graduate students) for remote research opportunities. The paid Summer Research Program aims to provide empirical research and networking opportunities for students interested in careers in law, research, academia, or criminal justice policy and reform.

Research Interns will assistant with criminal justice related research projects, including conducting literature reviews, data coding and cleaning, and interpreting results. For the undergraduate opportunity, the applicant must be an undergraduate student during the duration of the internship period. Research Fellows will have the opportunity to take the lead on an original, publishable research project that aligns with the Center research goals.

The Wilson Center will also hold summer lab meetings with guest speakers, skills workshops, and other programming to provide students with a unique experience at the intersection of criminal justice, legal and empirical research, and policy analysis.

Full details about the application process, including materials and dates, can be found below. Questions can be sent to william.crozier@duke.edu.
