A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT Providing for municipal business, trade, and professional licenses within police jurisdiction,provides that a Class 2 municipality that does not provide police and fire services in the area within its police jurisdiction but outside its corporate limits may not levy any business, trade, or professional licenses within that area.

Relates to Class 2 municipalities,amends a specified section, Code of Alabama 1975, providing for municipal business, trade, and professional licenses within police jurisdiction,provides that a Class 2 municipality that does not provide police and fire services in the area within its police jurisdiction but outside its corporate limits may not levy any business, trade, or professional licenses within that area.
