AN ACT concerning Public Safety – Use of Force De-Escalation Training of Law Enforcement Officers

Requires a law enforcement agency to report, beginning on a specified date, and every 2 years thereafter, to the Governor’s Office of Crime Prevention, Youth, and Victim Services on certain policies and procedures related to use of force de-escalation training for its law enforcement officers,requires the Governor’s Office of Crime Prevention, Youth, and Victim Services to analyze the data collected and report to certain committees of the General Assembly by a specified date, and every 2 years thereafter.
