AN ACT To amend and reenact R.S. 40:1379.1.4(D), relative to the carrying of concealed weapons by qualified retired law enforcement officers,to require the issuance of the required identification to qualified individuals by the head of the office or agency from which the individual has retired,and to provide for related matters.

Requires the head of the office or agency from which a qualified law enforcement officer has retired in good standing to issue identification to the officer for purposes of carrying a concealed firearm,provides for prospective and retroactive application.
