An Act to amend and reenact Section 18.2-308.2:2, as it is currently effective and as it shall become effective, of the Code of Virginia, relating to sale and transfer of firearms,criminal history record information checks.

Relates to sale or transfer of firearms,relates to criminal history record information check delay,increases from three business days to five business days the time provided for the Department of State Police to complete a background check before a firearm may be transferred.
