AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 11-46-9, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PROVIDE IMMUNITY FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS WHEN THE PERSON FILING THE CLAIM AGAINST THE OFFICER WAS CONVICTED FOR RESISTING ARREST AND THE INCIDENT WAS CLEARLY RECORDED BY THE OFFICER,AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
Provides immunity for law enforcement officers when the person filing the claim against the officer was convicted for resisting arrest and the incident was clearly recorded by the officer.
