AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 41-21-67, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO REQUIRE A CHANCELLOR TO REQUIRE THE APPROPRIATE LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS TO REMOVE FIREARMS FROM THE POSSESSION AND CONTROL OF ANY PERSON DETERMINED TO BE MENTALLY ILL,AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
Requires a chancellor to require the appropriate law enforcement officers to remove firearms from the possession and control of any person determined to be mentally ill.
