To prohibit law enforcement officers from using chemical weapons in the course of policing activities, and for other purposes. In order to be eligible to receive grant funding from the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act, the state in question must have a policy prohibiting the use of chemical weapons in policing activity. Federal officers are completely prohibited from use of chemical weapons.
Within a year of the enactment of this legislation, any chemical weapon that a state/government possesses must be properly disposed of
