Our Year in Review
What does a year of research, collaboration, and action look like?
Our new 2025–2026 Annual Report offers a look at the Wilson Center’s work over the past year—and the people making it possible. This year, we:
- Engaged 34 students in research, advocacy, and direct representation
- Expanded our national databases on life sentences, forensic evidence, and DNA exonerations
- Launched new research on mental health and the criminal legal system in North Carolina
- Reached 650+ people through events and presentations
- Put research into practice through new tools, policy work, and direct advocacy
At the center of it all is our commitment to using law and science to advance criminal justice and fairness.
