Building Pathways Out of the Criminal Legal System

Two women discussing paperwork

We work to improve supports for people as they return to their communities after incarceration and prevent entry into the criminal legal system through alternative models. We identify and support improvements to successful reentry and alternative response, such as housing, employment, and behavioral health supports to help people rebuild their lives and strengthen families and communities. When reentry, diversion, and deflection are successful, it not only improves individual outcomes but also promotes public safety and reduces the likelihood of future criminal legal system involvement.
