Jesse Lopez

Jesse Lopez is a Research Analyst at the Wilson Center where he works primarily on research related to accuracy of evidence and equity in criminal outcomes.

Before joining the Center, he served as a Survey Methodologist at Research Triangle Institute, where he conducted mixed-methods evaluations of education and STEM initiatives for incarcerated individuals and worked on the redesign of numerous surveys critical to national law enforcement and criminal justice agencies.

Jesse earned his PhD in Political Science from Duke University, where he utilized survey data and experimental designs to study American political attitudes, and behaviors. He also received a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
